What the site is
Live Mortgage Calculator is a free set of tools and articles that estimate mortgage payments and explain how mortgages work. It is provided for general information and education. It is not a lender, a broker, or a financial adviser, and using it does not create any professional relationship.

We work hard to keep the math correct and the defaults reasonable, and we document both openly. Even so, the tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Results are estimates that depend on the assumptions you enter and may not match an actual loan offer, which reflects your credit, the lender's pricing, points, and fees. Do not rely on these figures as the sole basis for a financial decision.

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape it at a scale that burdens our infrastructure, misrepresent its output as a lender quote, or use it unlawfully. The calculators, code, and written content are protected by copyright.
